Following the first series of highly successful contactless seminars in Taiwan which began in 2005, APSCA is organising a second series of contactless and NFC seminars in Taiwan in August, September and October 2006. The August seminar will focus on contactless payments in transport and retail business sectors.

Objectives of the seminar
The objective of the 4th contactless seminar is to assist project managers in retail and transport sectors to understand how contactless technology impacts development, implementation, marketing and sales of contactless products for their business.

Subjects covered - 5 case studies
The forum will look at contactless payment cards for transport and non-transport revenue collection, developing contactless payment projects with retailers, multi-application transport cards, combining transport cards with credit cards and insights for managing contactless payment projects.

Registration for APSCA Members
There is no registration fee for APSCA members [Full Members unlimited free places, Associate Members 1 free place] but you must still register in advance through the APSCA website using your login ID and password. For Associate Members that wish to send more than 1 delegate, the registration fee for additional delegates is US$160. To register for the event click here.

Registration for Guests
Seminar participants that are not members of the Asia Pacific Smart Card Association need to pay a registration fee of US$200 to attend the seminar. Registration fees must be paid by bank transfer. You must first register at to get the bank details to make your transfer.
