India has a long-term objective to adopt EMV-based open-loop ticketing nationwide as a basis for National Common Mobility but effective implementation strategies will be required to achieve this goal. The events organised by APSCA India in 2017 highlighted some of the business challenges which needs to be addressed.
In 2018 the conference will shift to the planning and execution phase and helping stakeholders develop implementation strategies to successfully rollout EMV-based open-loop transport payments in India.

As the supporter of the event, the MoHUA is inviting all public transport stakeholders and smart city officials in India to attend the conference in Delhi on 22-23 February.

Transport Payments South Asia 2018 provides excellent opportunities for leading technology and solution providers to communicate information about their company, their brand, and their products and services to end-users responsible for implementing and managing transport revenue collection schemes in India.
