Full members are entitled to enjoy the customized services as below:
>organisation of annual user-group meeting
>organisation of smart card training courses
>preparation of brief reports on smart card business or technology
All these services will be provided on request and the cost for conducting all these services should be covered by the member itself and APSCA must be notified in advance.




Annual Strategy Review Service
Full Members are entitled to a face-to-face annual strategy review of their business based on APSCA's extensive knowledge of the Asia Pacific smart card industry and understanding of past and future trends. This is an extremely valuable contribution to the development of the future business strategy of any organisation. Full members are requested to note that APSCA must be notified in advance in order to prepare the strategy review.




Sales Support Services
For Full Members only, APSCA can offer sales support services to assist an organisation to present and sell its products and services in a foreign market. This can be extremely valuable for Asian organisations that need to sell to western customers. This service is also available for Full Members that wish to sell into the Chinese, Korean or Japanese markets but do not have a local language capability.




Business Matching Services
Full and Associate Members are entitled to business matching services either to assist them in selling their products, or to assist them in locating products, services and solutions. These services work both proactively (members request our assistance in selling or sourcing) and passively (projects and opportunities are offered to members).




First Option on Speaking Opportunities
Full and Associate Members are entitled to first choice of speaking opportunities at APSCA events across the Asia Pacific region (around 12 events in any year) before these speaking opportunities are offered to non-member organisations. APSCA events provide excellent marketing, communications and "below the line" promotional opportunities for all types of organisations to communicate and reinforce their brand and market their products and services to new and existing customers. These opportunities vary from large two-day conferences with extensive media coverage and benefits focused on entire industry sectors, to smaller, interactive events focused on specific customer and market segments.




First Option on Sponsorship Opportunities
Full and Associate Members are entitled to first choice of discounted sponsorship opportunities at APSCA events across the Asia Pacific region (around 12 events in any year). The size of these sponsorship discounts is significant so that sponsoring just one of the larger industry conferences which APSCA organises around the region would generate cost savings amounting to a significant proportion of membership fees. These larger industry conferences are very high profile, often involving international and national financial, banking, payments or government organisations and have achieved extensive exposure in printed media and on television and recognition in the smart card industry.




Smart Card Recruitment Services
Full and Associate Members are entitled to assistance in locating and recruiting smart card executives and staff. There are no charges or placement fees incurred by using this APSCA service and members therefore have the opportunity to save large sums of money.




Telephone Support Services
Full and Associate Members are entitled and encouraged to call the APSCA office whenever they need assistance, information or business contacts related to the development of their smart card business or scheme. This is one of the most valuable APSCA services.




Email Support Services
Full and Associate are entitled to email support from APSCA offices covering a wide range of issues including technical and standards questions, business development information, introductions and referrals and assistance with all aspects of their smart card scheme, business or service. Members can usually expect answers to their questions within 48 hours of their email being received.




Participation in APSCA events (~ 12 annually)
Full and Associate Members will receive invitations to attend all APSCA events, many of which are restricted to members only.




Number of Participants per Year
Full Members are entitled to send an unlimited number of delegates to attend APSCA events in a year. Associate Members are entitled to send up to 20 delegates to attend APSCA events in a year. Members are allowed the flexibility to use these entitlements for their own convenience. Example: an Associate Member may send several delegates to attend an event and no delegates to attend another event so long as the annual number of participants does not exceed their entitlement.




Free-of-charge registration
Full Members can attend all APSCA events, up to their entitlement, free-of-charge. Associate Members can attend one-day APSCA meetings free-of-charge. Associate Members can attend the larger two-day, high-profile conferences by paying heavily discounted registration fees (discounts are usually around 50%).




APSCA Meeting Presentation Materials
Presentation materials from APSCA events are made available to all members, whether they attended the event or not. Presentation materials are uploaded to the Info Desk on the APSCA website usually within one week after the event. Members will be required to use their organisation APSCA member login ID and password to download the presentations.





Discounts to Third Party Conferences
Full and Associate Members are entitled to receive discounts to attend conferences, seminars and workshops organised by third party organisations.




APSCA email newsletter
All Members are entitled to receive the APSCA smart card industry newsletter which is published approximately 50 times a year by email.




Smart Card Business Intelligence by email
All Members are entitled to receive a daily email containing headlines of all the latest smart card news stories published globally. These headlines are hyperlinked to the web site on which the news story was originally published. Full Members are entitled to an unlimited number of subscriptions to the smart card business intelligence email service. Associate Members are entitled to up to 5 subscriptions to the service.




Access Info Desk library of Papers and Reports
Full Members and Associate Members are entitled to access the extensive library of more than 200 papers, reports, journals and presentation materials on the Info Desk at the APSCA web site. Members will need their organisation APSCA member login and password to download these materials.




Organisation Listing, Logo and Link
The organisation name and corporate logo of all Full Members and Associate Members will be listed in the members section of the APSCA website. Each member's name and corporate logo will be hyperlinked to their own web site.




Listing in Member Supplier Directory
The organisation name and corporate logo of all Full Members and Associate Members that supply products or services will be listed in the members section of the Supplier Directory on the APSCA website. Each member's name and corporate logo will be hyperlinked to their own web site.




One Month Free Advertising on APSCA Business Intelligence
Full members are entitled to one month's free advertising in the APSCA Smart Card Business Intelligence newsletter sent out every working day to over 8,000 senior executives in the China and Asia Pacific smart card industry.




On-Line Advertising Discount
Full members are entitled to a 20% discount on advertising rates in APSCA electronic media, Associate Members are entitled to a 10% discount, whichever type of electronic media they choose.




Distribution of member press releases in Smart Card Business Intelligence
English member press releases will be distributed through the English version of the APSCA Smart Card Business Intelligence service, sent daily to over 5,000 senior executives in the smart card industry. Chinese versions of member press releases can be distributed through the Chinese version of the APSCA Smart Card Business Intelligence service.
