 2nd NFC and International Micropayment Forum [15 Jun 2008]

On 24 June, Chunghwa Telecom, the GBDe and APSCA will organise a second discussion on NFC-based international micropayments. This second discussion forum will be held at the offices of Chunghwa Telecom in Taipei. Chunghwa Telecom is inviting all mobile operators in Taiwan to participate in the forum together with banks, transport operators and other payment processors.
Participants found the first discussion to be a unique opportunity for end-users targeting the NFC and contactless micropayments businesses to discuss the practical implementation of NFC-based services and business models with mobile operators, transport operators and banks.
