 2nd Transport & Retail ePayments seminar [16 Jul 2008]

In 2008, the Asia Pacific Smart Card Association together with Beijing Municipal Administration & Communication Card Company is organising the second in a series of transportation and retail epayments seminars for transport revenue collectors and retailers in China. The seminar will be held at the Beijing Capital Xindadu Hotel. The first seminar was organised by APSCA and Yangchengtong Card Company in Guangzhou on 10 October 2007.
The Transport and Retail ePayments Seminar will explore China market development and international best practice for developing business opportunities between transport revenue collection companies, retailers and payments solutions providers, including:
· How transport revenue collectors can develop a profitable non-transport epayments business in China.
· Opportunities for retailers to grow their business through accepting contactless transport cards for low value payments.
· Synergies with retailer development of loyalty, promotional, stored value and gift card programmes
· International best practice for development of transport revenue collection and epayments business.
