APSCA is the industry association for payments and identity in Asia, from secure smart chip-based and contactless applications to the latest digital payments and digital identity services.
APSCA is expanding the Next-Generation Cards event into a broader focus on card payments, mobile payments, real-time payments and CBDCs, with the objective of attracting a wider range of end-user customers and stakeholders. This conference and exhibition will be held in the offices of Bank Negara Malaysia. Financial institutions from across Asia, including central banks, international payment schemes, retail banks and payment services providers will be invited.
The APSCA conference is one of the best I have attended recently; it combined a mix of strategy and technical presentations which gave me not only a great understanding of the overall direction of transit related payments (trends and key issues), but also provided some great technical presentations which broadened my knowledge of the key applications and solutions.
David Maitland, Business Unit Direction and General Manager, Go-Ahead Retail Services
Excellent place to share experience and challenges being faced in the current environment. Further, since there is a good mix of companies from various verticals, it helps to brainstorm new ideas and technology.
Sabeeta Ratra, Country Director, Famoco Solutions
It is essential that policy makers have a good understanding of the benefits, costs, and challenges involved in different fare payment schemes and this forum is an effective means for conveying those concepts and empowering transport authorities and operators to make the best decision for their system.
Eric Turner, Transport Analyst, Transport & ICT Global Practice, The World Bank
I think the conference was well organized… We were able to identify the benefits and challenges that we commonly need to address in the future.
